DESCRIPTION
Project promoted by Esplugues de Llobregat City Council with the aim of promoting active aging and improving the quality of life of elderly people and/or people with certain functional diversity. It can also be extended to people who suffer from unwanted loneliness.
The main activity of the project is the organization of rides with electric tricycles specially adapted for the recipients who want to cycle around the city in an active and dynamic way.
The activity will be organized based on the demand for the service by the equipment of the elderly, the availability of volunteers to drive the tricycles, the weather conditions of the period of year and the environment in which they will do the walks.
This project promotes an active lifestyle among the recipients, and helps to improve their health, both physical and mental. In addition, it improves accessibility and inclusion, promoting active participation in community life.
