DESCRIPTION
This project, developed by the HEROES SIN CAPA ASSOCIATION of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, aims to contribute to improving the quality of life of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families, attending to special needs and carrying out educational activities. leisure so that they can develop in a favourable environment without being judged for their condition.
One of the activities that will be developed within the framework of the project is dog-assisted therapy, very effective in child safety and emotional support, in improving social and communication skills, in reducing stress and anxiety, and in sensory stimulation.
In addition, the project includes other activities:
Theatre as a tool for the expression of emotions and for the development of abilities such as understanding, memory and coordination.
Sport, not only understood as a positive factor for health and well-being but also as an element to promote the development of social and physical skills.
Outdoor excursions to enjoy leisure time that is as normalized and adapted as possible, taking advantage of the resources of the city and its surroundings.
