DESCRIPTION

This project provides specialized care for people with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, in an environment designed to promote cognitive stimulation.

Its aim is to improve the quality of life of users and their families, by supporting caregivers and enhancing participants’ abilities, with the goal of slowing cognitive decline and encouraging social interaction within a therapeutic and psychosocial setting.

AFA Baix Llobregat is a non-profit organization founded in 1997 with the aim of supporting and improving the quality of life of people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families. It does so through direct support activities and by representing their interests before public administrations in several municipalities across the Baix Llobregat region.
