DESCRIPTION
Action that aims to improve the quality of life of homeless people, facilitating access to permanent housing and offering personalized support. The collaboration of the Metropolitan House Foundation will be used to rent three homes in Barcelona for one year, so that people who have spent long periods living on the streets and who are in a situation of social exclusion can live in them.
For people who have lived on the streets, access to housing provides stability, security, intimacy, and an increase in self-esteem and self-confidence, key elements to reverse their situation.
Arrels Fundació is an entity whose objective is to provide support and care for homeless people, who are in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion. The entity also has the mission of raising awareness among citizens and denouncing unfair situations, providing solutions to administrations and civil society.
