Metropolitan House Foundation, member of the Barcelona + Sustainable Network of the Barcelona City Council
The Foundation reinforces its commitment to the environmental, social, and economic sustainability of Barcelona by joining this initiative promoted by the Barcelona City Council to contribute to the city’s sustainability.
Metropolitan House Foundation has officially joined the Barcelona + Sustainable Network, an initiative promoted by Barcelona City Council that brings together organisations, companies, institutions, educational centres and citizens committed to the city’s environmental, social and economic sustainability.
Through this incorporation, the Foundation has signed the Citizen Commitment for a More Sustainable Barcelona 2024-2034, a collaborative framework that promotes actions and best practices linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), climate action, decarbonisation, water saving, circular economy and social transformation.
The Barcelona + Sustainable Network aims to promote a more responsible, resilient and environmentally friendly city by encouraging collaboration among different local stakeholders and creating spaces for participation, knowledge sharing and mutual support.
By signing the Commitment, Metropolitan House Foundation becomes part of the “We Connect” commitment space, made up of organisations actively working to promote sustainability improvements within their field of activity, share knowledge and create synergies with other committed entities.
This adhesion represents a new step in the Foundation’s commitment to developing initiatives that positively contribute to social wellbeing, sustainability and the improvement of people’s quality of life and the urban environment.
