The team sponsored by Metropolitan House Foundation has completed an outstanding season by winning the Catalonia Championship in the Boys’ U14 category.

The etropolitan House Foundation – BBA Castelldefels team was crowned Catalonia Champion this weekend in the Boys’ U14 Promotion Category, bringing an exceptional season to a successful close and establishing itself as one of the leading grassroots basketball teams in Catalonia.

The Final Phase of the 2025-26 Catalonia Boys’ U14 Promotion Championship, organised by the Catalan Basketball Federation (FCBQ) and CB Cantaires de l’Ebre-Delta, took place on June 7 at the El Temple Sports Hall in Tortosa. Alongside Fundación Metropolitan House – BBA Castelldefels, the teams Nayox Força Lleida B, Reus Deportiu Negre and FD Cassanenc A also competed in a thrilling event featuring the best teams in the category.

In the final, Metropolitan House Foundation – BBA Castelldefels 2012M defeated Nayox Força Lleida B by 67-56, securing the Catalonia Championship title.

Having won the Barcelona Championship only a few days earlier, the team entered the final stage with determination and ambition to continue competing at the highest level. Their hard work, perseverance and commitment throughout the season were rewarded with the highest regional title in the category.

The final once again showcased the players’ talent, dedication and resilience, values that have defined the team throughout the championship and helped them achieve this remarkable success..
