23/02/2026

Both organisations have signed a framework collaboration agreement aimed at promoting joint initiatives that foster inclusion, the promotion of values and social commitment through sport during the 2025–2026 season.

Club de Bàsquet Castelldefels is a sports organisation with a long-standing track record in promoting grassroots sport, values-based education and social integration through basketball. Its work within the sporting and community spheres has established it as a local benchmark in youth development, not only in athletic performance but also in personal and social growth.

Both organisations share fundamental values such as social commitment, cooperation and the promotion of inclusion within the sporting and community environment. In this context, the Metropolitan House Foundation reaffirms its social commitment and its determination to contribute to improving the well-being of citizens. The Foundation’s mission is to cooperate and undertake initiatives that help build a better and more equitable society, generating more and better opportunities for people in vulnerable situations.

With the aim of giving visibility to the work carried out by both organisations and strengthening collaboration between sport and social action, the parties formalise this agreement for mutual promotion, dissemination and support throughout the 2025–2026 season.

Within the framework of this agreement, Club Bàsquet Castelldefels will promote the visibility of the Metropolitan House Foundation within its sporting community, incorporating its name into one of its federated teams and supporting the dissemination of its social initiatives, as well as exploring the organisation of joint activities to enhance their impact on the community.

For its part, the Metropolitan House Foundation will actively support this collaboration by providing up-to-date information on its activities, participating in shared initiatives and publicly acknowledging the Club’s involvement through its communication channels.

This agreement reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to join forces and generate synergies between sport and social action, contributing to a more inclusive, supportive and engaged community model.
