Key victory for the basquet team Metropolitan House Foundation – BBA Castelldefels on the road to the final
As part of the collaboration framework agreement signed between the Metropolitan House Foundation and Club de Bàsquet Castelldefels for the 2025-26 season, the joint team bearing our Fundation’ names played a key match last weekend.
Last Sunday, a new match in the C.T. Infantil Masculí basketball category took place, in which the Metropolitan House Foundation – BBA Castelldefels side claimed victory over C.B. Castellar M Negre.
The team put in an outstanding performance, securing a win that goes beyond the scoreboard: the result brings them closer to the final of the best team in Barcelona, to be held at the end of May, keeping alive their ambition to compete for the Catalan championship title.
The game was attended by the Foundation’s president, Rafael Angulo Cordero, and its general director, José Vicente Muñoz Gómez, who came in person to support the players in a match of particular sporting significance.
This collaboration agreement reflects the Metropolitan House Foundation’s commitment to grassroots sport and the values it promotes: effort, teamwork and perseverance. A commitment to genuine positive social impact, built one game at a time.
