In this episode, Francisco Diéguez, Director General of the Institute of Construction Technology of Catalonia (ITeC), delves into the evolution toward industrialized construction and the advantages it brings to the sector.

The Podcast Program of the Chair in Dignified and Sustainable Housing of the UPF Barcelona School of Management, directed by Ramon Bastida and in collaboration with the Metropolitan House Foundation, presents exclusive interviews with leaders in the sector who reflect on different aspects related to the real estate market.

On this occasion, the Chair has released its fourth episode entitled “Industrialized Construction.” “The Transformation the Sector Needs?“, where Francisco Diéguez, CEO of the Institut de Tecnologia de la Construcció de Catalunya (ITeC), analyzes the evolution from prefabrication to industrialized construction and the advantages it brings to the sector: efficiency, cost reduction, sustainability, and new opportunities for architects and engineers.
