Awards ceremony for the best Master’s Final Project (MFP) in Decent and Sustainable Housing
“DECO LIVING: The sustainable Transition of an Artists Coliving” by Hugo López González, is the MFP awarded by the Decent and Sustainable Housing Chair at the UPF Barcelona School of Management, developed together with the Metropolitan House Foundation.
On February 29th, the “Award for the best TFM in Decent and Sustainable Housing” was awarded by the Decent and Sustainable Housing Chair of the UPF/Barcelona School of Management, in collaboration with the Metropolitan House Foundation. This award seeks to contribute to empowering young talent that is driving and promoting projects that seek solutions for the most vulnerable people in our society, especially focused on the real estate sector.
The awards were delivered by two members of the Jury: Susana Domingo, vice dean of Knowledge Transfer at the Barcelona School of Management at UPF and director of the Executive MBA, and Josep Lluís Pellicer, Secretary of the Metropolitan House Foundation Board.
The first Award was awarded to Hugo López González, student of the Master of Science and Sustainability at ESCI-UPF, for his work “DECO LIVING. THE SUSTAINABLE TRANSITION OF AN ARTISTS’S COLIVING.”
At the same event, the second prize was awarded to the work “THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF SUSTAINABILITY: AN APPLICATION IN THE OFFICE REAL ESTATE SECTOR” by Vanessa Lastra, Fátima Villar and Marta Clavijo, students of the Master’s Degree in Financial and Accounting Management at UPF Barcelona. School of Management.
The event was chaired by José Manuel Martínez-Sierra, General Director of the UPF-BSM, and Rafael Angulo, President of the Metropolitan House Foundation.
